A pianist who shaped his unique musical style through his own compositions as the leader of Tubis Trio. A composer and musician who never stops exploring and does not shy away from unorthodox solutions and arrangements, as demonstrated in the musical ventures of Bolewski & Tubis, his other project. This classically trained pianist, who is absolutely enchanted by the instrument he plays and devoted to its elegance, is looking forward to his newest solo project called KOMEDA: REFLECTIONS.

Maciej Tubis
Having recently defended his PhD dissertation on how classical music influences the aesthetics of improvisation at the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódż, Maciej Tubis decided to record Krzysztof Komeda’s music with the aim of presenting his explorations and his pianistic vision to a wider audience and the fans of his work.
