Docenione przez krytyków trio jazzowe tworzą od 2008 roku Maciej Tubis (fortepian), Paweł Puszczało (kontrabas) oraz Przemek Pacan (perkusja). Zespół wykonuje autorskie kompozycje, których styl nakreśla improwizacja zaczerpnięta z jazzu, ale otwarta na szersze horyzonty. Jak mówi pianista Maciej Tubis: „Słowo jazz zbyt ogranicza i szufladkuje.” W ten sposób powstają utwory z melodyjnymi tematami , ale nieprzewidywalnymi formami. Klasycyzujące polifonie przechodzą w rockowe ostinata. Trio inspiracje czerpie z szeroko pojętej muzyki, czasami sięgając nawet po tematy muzyki pop, ale przerobione z największym kunsztem artystycznym. W ten sposób nawiązując do zespołów takich jak The Bad Plus czy E.S.T. Tubis Trio zaskakuje publiczność świeżością z jaką podchodzi do każdego koncertu.
